On Sunday, June 20th, Pastor John participated in the RochesterFest Triathlon. How cool is it that our pastor does traithlons?!
Jaden Wootton, in Pastor John’s absence, shared with us his message entitled “In This Together Forever.” He spoke about our covenant relationships and how important these are to producing connectedness in the body of Christ. His Scripture text came from I John 2:12-17.

If you’re wondering where Myth #1 (The Church is Just a Building) Podcast is look no further. on June 6th the NewDay community spent time together looking at where God has lead us (past), how we live out our mission (present) and what might God have in store for us (future). John led the day by challenging us to look beyond ourselves to those in our community as we walk our faith journey together as a church. To look beyond our walls! The message was not necessarily in the words John spoke, but in the exercise of “being” the church.
On June 13th John led us through Scriptures that point directly to Jesus as the Way, the Truth and the Life that everyone is searching for. He instructed us to love others and passionately pursue them for Christ just as Christ has passionately pursued us in His life and resurrection. We spent time in John 14:6 and John 14:30-33.
