VISION TRIP TO ETHIOPIA May 23-31, 2012

How might the people at NewDay sponsor an orphanage in Ethiopia? From the HopeChest Website: “A vision trip is designed for pastors of churches and leaders of potential sponsoring communities. On a Vision Trip, participants visit mostly unsponsored locations for the purpose of evaluating how your church or community can become a HopeChest sponsoring community.”
Ethiopia has over 4 million orphans. This is an opportunity for individuals to connect with the children who most need to see and hear the message and love of Jesus.
Donations are being accepted for items for the team to take with them. Items such as crayons, coloring books, jump ropes, activities the team could do/play with the children, etc.
Financial donations are accepted to help defray the costs. Simply write a check to NewDay Covenant Church and indicate in the memo line that it is for the Ethiopia Trip Fund.
