Service & Outreach

Many opportunities exist for us to serve and minister alongside one another.  How can you be involved?

Make-The-Most-Of-It Ministry: Jon & Jolynn Kruse
This is the tastiest opportunity to serve!  Every Saturday and Sunday night, an individual or family goes to the South Side Panera (next to HyVee), gathers the leftover bread and pastries, and bags them fro the next day.  We bring them to the YMCA on Sunday and Monday morning to share with others who are in need.

Hospitality Team: Mary DuBall
This team creates a welcoming atmosphere for our fellowship time by serving refreshments/coffee and through coordinating our monthly potlucks or “Out To Lunch” times.

Friendship Place: Mandy Radtke
M-F, 4:00-5:30pm; M-Th, 7-8:30pm
Friendship Place offers after school programs to elementary through college students.  The amount of help varies from simple homework to online research.  For more information, check out: http://www.olmstedoutreach.org/friendshipPlace.html

Y Mentors: Jenny Gile  (Rochester Family Y) 507-287-2260 x373
Y Mentors is a nonprofit, community based mentoring program serving youth grades K-12 in Olmsted County, in need of a positive adult role model with caring adult volunteers.

Personal & Community Outreach Opportunities: John DuBall
